Driving near a big rig safety tips:
Large trucks and buses have operating limitations such as large blind spots, long stopping distances, and limited maneuverability that make it essential for other vehicles to put extra focus on safety. Fortunately, you can take simple actions to avoid experiencing or causing problems Involving trucks and buses by following these Ten Rules of the Road.
1.   Stay out of blind stops, 2.   Pass safely  3.   Don’t cut it close  4.   Stay back 5.   Anticipate wide turns  6.   Be patient  7.   Buckle Up  8.   Stay Focused  9.   Don’t Drive fatigued  10.                Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Any 8th thru 11th grade girl interested in playing summer volleyball please attend a meeting on May 21st. This meeting will be held in the High School commons at 7:00pm. Parents are encouraged to attend.

Tomorrow we will be hosting a baseball playoff game vs. White Swan. The cost is $7 for students with an ASB card and $9 for adults. We are charging because it is a Y.V.I.A.A game.

Freshman students attending the Eastern Oregon University Campus Visit on Friday.  Please check your GEAR UP Google classroom for our itinerary for departure and return times.  If you have any questions please see Mrs. Maxwell.

Football meeting May 7Th at 6:00 pm for parents and players. If you plan on playing in the fall, please attend!

Any 8th thru 11th grade girl interested in playing summer volleyball please attend a meeting on May 21st. This meeting will be held in the High School commons at 7:00pm. Parents are encouraged to attend.

Baseball playoffs are this week. Today they travel to Kittitas for a 4:00 PM game. On Wednesday we will play either River View or White Swan. If we play White Swan, we would host the game here. Since these are Y.V.I.A.A. playoff games, admission will be charged. The cost is $7 for students with ASB cards and $9 for adults.

Prom is Saturday, May 4th and our theme this year is Hollywood Glamour. Mark your calendars for May 4th.

Seniors:  Remember that senior video pictures are due to Mrs. Aune no later than today, May 3rd.  For more information, check the flyer you received in the mail or the post in the Senior Class Google Classroom.

Seniors - the signup sheet for times for senior presentation day on 5/10 is now posted in the office.  If you do not sign up today 7th period, you will be assigned a time.  

Is there a Cinderella out there that is in need of shoes for the Prom?  If you are a size 7 and would like a new pair of shoes, stop by the library to see the shoes and enter the drawing.  The lucky winner will go home with the shoes on Friday.

Today at lunch there will be Safe driving tables for you to engage and learn about safe driving techniques and to sign a pledge. Be sure to stop by the tables and play the game or sign the pledge to get a chance to win a gift card!!

Honor Society applications are due by the end of the school day today. Please turn them into the office since Mrs. Kelly is gone today.

It is the first Thursday of the month which means it is time for the Burbank Library to visit us  at lunch with a craft to do.  Today she is bringing paints and canvas to allow you to create your own work of art.  Feel free to stop by and check it out.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. It is also an important opportunity to start conversations about mental health and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health conditions and seeking support. Each day in May we will be starting off with a mental health quote of the day.  If you or someone you know needs support, please reach out to Mrs. Haley or Mrs. Annie. We are always here to help.  "Remember, your mental health is just as important as your physical health."

CBC is back today!  The counselor will be in the library from 11-1 to help you with classes, scholarships, and financial aid questions!
