Air Quality Update – Columbia School District
Columbia School District continues to closely monitor today’s Air Quality Index (AQI). As of this morning, Burbank is in the Orange category – “Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups.”
If conditions remain the same, students with health plans, asthma, or other health concerns will have the option to remain indoors during recess or other outdoor activities. We will continue to review air quality levels prior to recess and lunch and adjust as needed.
We are also keeping a close watch on air quality in the Spokane area as it relates to tonight’s CHS Football game vs. Northwest Christian. A final determination on travel and game status will be made at 1:00 PM today for planning purposes. Any updates will be communicated promptly to parents and our community.
If you would like to follow the air quality information yourself, please visit our district website: csd400.org → click on the District tab → Resources → CSD Air Quality Report.
Thank you for your support and understanding as we work to ensure the health and safety of all students.
