💧 Boil Water Advisory Lifted

Posted Date: 10/07/26 (10:22 AM)

Great news, Columbia School District families and community!

We received confirmation from the Port of Walla Walla just a few minutes ago that the boil water advisory has been lifted and the water is safe to drink. Water samples were tested on both Monday and Tuesday, and both tests came back clear and safe. We can now return to normal water use throughout our schools, including reopening drinking fountains and using tap water for regular food service operations.

Thank you to our students, staff, families, and community for your patience and flexibility over the past few days. We also appreciate the Port of Walla Walla and the Walla Walla County Department of Community Health for keeping us informed and providing guidance throughout the process.

And a special thank you to our staff who helped distribute water, adjust meals, and make sure our students had what they needed while the advisory was in place.

Thank you, Coyote Community! 💜💛
